An HR audit is a structured review of your employment practices checked against current BC requirements: contracts, policies, employee files, pay practices, and processes. You get a clear picture of where you're exposed and a prioritized list of what to fix.

Most BC employers have most of the right pieces. The audit finds the gaps: the contract clause that wouldn't hold up, the missing policy, the file that wouldn't support you if a complaint landed.

What the audit covers

• Employment contracts and offer letters: enforceability, termination clauses, and whether they actually protect the business
• Policies and handbook: what's required in BC, what's missing, what's out of date
• Employee files and documentation: what you have, what you're missing, and how it's stored
• Pay practices: overtime, classifications, vacation pay, and obligations under BC's Pay Transparency Act
• Employment Standards compliance: hours of work, leaves, final pay, and the areas BC employers most often get wrong
• WorkSafeBC basics: including the bullying and harassment policy and response procedures every BC employer is required to have

What you get

A written report in plain English: what's solid, what's exposed, and what to fix first. Findings are ranked by risk, so you know the difference between "handle this now" and "tidy this up when you can." Fixed-fee pricing, agreed before work begins.
